Songs From Isolation
Songs from Isolation was created directly as a result of the Covid virus. It started when I wrote the song, We’re all in this together, paying tribute to all the frontline workers. When I finished my song with my producer he suggested that we had the material for a new Album. So I spent last summer writing and recording from my home studio. I sent all my tracks to my producer and he did his magic with production a little Guitar and Bass work.
I released “We’re all n this together” and then released my Album in October followed by the singles “When they stared” and “Sweet Jeanine”. I made a video of Sweet Jeanine using a great stage in Penticton that was sitting empty because to Covid-19. Songs from isolation was the most unique way of putting an Album together but in the end I’m very happy how it’s turned out,
Songs from the heart and Isolation.

Songs from Isolation was officially released to the world on October 2, 2020, more than half a year after the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic left the word at a standstill. The labour of love serves as Naylor’s second solo studio album, and follows his 2017 debut, Possibilities.
Beyond “Sweet Jeanine,” the record features lead single “When They Stared,” the existential and thought-provoking “I Miss Love,” and the extremely beautiful and fitting closing track, “We’re All in This Together” — the latter of which was written as a tribute to all the frontline workers helping to fight the spread of the novel coronavirus across the globe.
